What is L'Huile Parfum?
L'Huile parfum is French for oil perfume. Our perfume is oil based and contains no alcohol.
Where should I store my perfume?
Our bottles are made from thick European ultra-violet glass, that blocks out visible light rays and is airtight to preserve the freshness of the oils. For optimal freshness store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Is your perfume non-toxic?
Yes, our perfume is non-toxic. We use only the best ingredients with the best interest for our planet and for the health of our bodies.
Is your perfume cruelty-free and vegan?
Of course! Our perfume has never been tested on animals and contains no animal products.
Where should I apply my perfume?
Apply to your pulse points. Do not apply near silk or other delicate fabrics. For external use only. Discontinue use of irritation occurs.
Why alcohol-free?
Most commercially available fragrances contain about 20-95% alcohol. What’s wrong with that? The alcohol is a filler which gives off a strong, short-lasting, alcohol driven aroma. Besides that, alcohol doesn’t smell very nice and kills off some of the nicest notes in a fragrance. Alcohol is a drying agent and as the alcohol evaporates, it also takes away the fragrance and your own natural body oils along with it, drying out your skin as it goes. Alcohol can also be highly irritating to your skin as well as stimulate the nervous system which can trigger head pain and migraines. Alcohol is also highly flammable and can be a hazard.
Is your packaging sustainable?
Yes, all of our packaging is made sustainably and is recyclable.
Do you have a re-use program?
Not at the moment, but we hope to soon!
Is it safe to use while pregnant?
There are no ingredients that are flagged as harmful, however it is best to consult your doctor before using any products while pregnant.
Why do perfumes smell different on different people?
Perfumes smell different on different people because our body chemistry affects how the different notes react on our skin. Your hormones, diet and the Ph balance of your skin as well as the dryness and the temperature of your skin can all play a role in how well the fragrance can bloom and diffuse.
Can I travel with your perfume?
Yes, we specifically made our perfume to be 10ml / .34 fl oz. so that you can easily travel with it on the plane or on the road.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, because our perfume contains no alcohol we are able to ship via air to almost any country.
What is the wear-time?
Much like how the perfume will smell different on different people, the wear-time also varies depending on the person wearing it because of our different body chemistry and other varying factors.
How long will a 10ml bottle last me?
Your 10ml bottle should last you about 6 months if worn once a day, every day but will vary more or less depending on the amount applied.

Can your perfume be worn by men?
Yes, even though our perfume was originally created for women, it is a lovely unisex scent that can be enjoyed by men as well.
